I would love to be involved in any way, shape, or form. I am in the Northville, MI area. My mother has been battling SMLC for 2 years now. She’s had chemo on her lungs, and lymph nodes as well as radiation on her lung and brain. I walked 33 miles for her at the R4L last year, and would love to do more in her honor.

I would love to lead for Grand Rapids MI area or help out in anyway if someone else already has a chapter going for GR. My husband is currently in treatment for stage IV lung cancer his diagnosis came on July 26, 2010 in the ER and he has had 2 surgeries along with chemo. We have an awesome Thoracic Surgeon in GR but I have still spent endless hours educating myself on this horrible disease. Currently out of work and have time on my hands that I would love to devote to this cause.
